James Corbett Studio is a luxury hair care & organic beauty boutique located in the Flatiron Distric deep conditioning treatment.

The James Corbett Studio is an Asian-inspired oasis away from the hustle and bustle of New York City. Often referred to as a "hidden gem," our hair studio includes a small personal staff to handle your beauty needs. James, who has trained at Warren Tricomi and Peter Coppola, meticulously handles each color client himself. As part of James’ color service, he helps each woman determine the best hair color based on skin tone, eye color and lifestyle. James is insistent on minimizing damage that can result from the dying process so he often uses a hair color instead of bleach for highlights. Hair color with James Corbett include these services: single process, half head of highlights, full head of highlights, gloss treatment and Philip B. Every hair treatment comes with a complimentary shampoo scalp massage and blow dry. In addition to hair color, we offer women and men’s haircuts as well as hairstyling. Our beauty services include makeup application, bridal makeup application and consultation and brows. We also offer relaxing pedicures in our garden. Role Description:
A Salon Assistant will shampoo all clients, support the salon’s daily operations, assist stylists with various tasks, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a part time or full time position located in Flatiron District, NYC.

Requirements:
- MUST HAVE A COSMETOLOGY LICENSE
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of salon operations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Previous experience in the beauty industry is a plus
