I stopped by an Indonesian salon in Queens, NYC, where I was given a makeover by the very talented mbak Merry Salmeri, who has owned this salon in Queens, New York City for over twenty years.

Salah satu kesuksesan New York Indonesia Fashion Week, ketika menyelenggarakan fashion show diatas kapal pesiar sambil mengelilingi New York City harbor .

Kapal yang cukup besar dan mempunyai 4 lantai ini , menampung sekitar 500 orang .

20 designers total, 60 models, 20 make-up artists dan hairstylists, penari, mc, dj, beserta team sekitar 20 orang.

Tamu tamu yang hadir terdiri dari berbagai kalangan, seperti Indonesian diaspora di NY, American fashion network, ibu ibu dari KBRI Washington DC, Konsulat Indonesia di NY, Fashion Institute of Technology NY, Media. Television, juga beberapa tamu dan bloggers dari Indonesia langsung.

New York Indonesia Fashion Week, akan tetap konsisten untuk bekerjasama dengan para designers dari Indonesia maupun dari Anerica dan dari negara negara lainnya.
