To honor the memory of the Rebbe and the milestone of 40 years, friends of Laniado Hospital – Sanz Medical Center have embarked on a campaign to write a Sefer Torah for the Hospital Shul so that the patients have their own Torah to read from on Shabbos, Yom Tov and those weekdays when the Torah is read. What better way to give courage to the sick then to make them feel “at home” not only with the most humanitarian care but also with a beautiful new Torah.

Close to 300 people showed up for our charity football match in North London with the Rabbis Select XI (a team of Orthodox rabbis representing communities and schools from across the UK) and the Spurs Legends.

Rabbi Hackenbroch was delighted with the effect the match had in uniting the spectators. ”It was great to see so many people from different communities come to watch the game”, commented the 42 year-old goalscorer. “Sport is a brilliant way of breaking down barriers between different sections of our community.”

What a night at The Grand Women's Cook-Off! The food from Pomegranate Supermarket was scrumptious, the desserts from Lilac & Creme, delectable, there was a fabulous Norman's Dairy yogurt bar, a wine and liquor tasting with Royal Wine Corporation and Morad Winery, and everything looked absolutely stunning (thanks to Chani Greenbaum Events and Lubicom Marketing Consulting).
