Before the actual ceremony, practice the attunement ritual with an empty chair. If you will be sharing an attunement virtually, visualize yourself energetically sharing the attunement at a distance. After you’re done, sit in that chair and hold the intention of receiving the attunement.

Let yourself bask in the healing energy. The more you practice, the more you will be able to hold the energy of attunements with ease and grace.

This practice helps Reiki Master Teachers develop familiarity with the frequency of the attunements. 💫

Honor Your Role—and Let Go
Remember: you are the channel, not the source. Your role as a Reiki Master Teacher is to:

Be present
Stay in your practice
Offer the attunement with sincerity and integrity
Then, trust the energy.

You don’t have to force outcomes. You don’t need to prove anything. Just show up with love and faith, and let Reiki do the rest.

Each student will receive exactly what they need. Some will dive deeply into practice, others may not. Your job is only to introduce them to the teachings in an authentic manner.

Ahead of teaching a Reiki training, send distant Reiki to your students and/or the space where the attunements will occur. Visualize them gathered in a circle, either physically or in spirit. 🌟

Ask for and welcome:

The highest vibrations of love, light, and healing
The presence of guides, guardians, and Reiki Masters
A field of peace, compassion, and divine intelligence

Feel the Reiki energy fill the space, clearing any heaviness and energies that don’t belong. Prepare the room as a container for healing and awakening.

Creating a Sacred Space and Altar Prior to Reiki Attunements

You may set the energetic container for the ceremony by creating an altar. This altar serves as an invocation of the energies you’ll be working with.

You may chose to include:

Crystals, candles, flowers
Images of Dr. Mikao Usui, guides, or ascended masters
Incense, essential oils, palo santo
A written intention for your attunement and the names of your students

Your intention could be: “May this space be protected, grounded, and full of light. May each student receive exactly what they need to awaken to their highest healing potential.”

Try creating an altar prior to attuning your next group of Reiki students. Notice if the group feels more grounded, or balanced. ☺️

The six week program begins May 8th! In a small group, live training, I will be sharing attunements (initiations), teaching meditations from the Japanese Reiki tradition, and creating a strong foundation for energy healing.
