An article I wrote a couple of years ago is out now, and I’m excited to share it with you. I wrote this at a time of personal vulnerability and attempted to explore that vulnerability through a shared sense of humanity with a patient. We are only human after all, and our worlds are often intricately intertwined. Empathy for self and other was the angle from which I wrote this paper. Empathy, something we are all longing for at this time.
