Not all “hard to digest” foods are unhealthy. Sometimes, it’s not the food, it’s your gut. When your gut health is disturbed, even otherwise nutritious foods can feel heavy, cause bloating, or discomfort. That doesn’t mean you need to eliminate them forever.
For example, foods like cauliflower and cabbage are extremely nutritious. But if you’re dealing with gas, bloating, or poor digestion, they might feel heavy and uncomfortable.
Focus on healing your gut first. Once your digestion improves, you can slowly reintroduce these foods and observe how your body responds.
