🌿 Project Amma – Empowering Grassroots to Beat Anaemia 💪✨

Anaemia remains one of India’s most serious public health challenges — especially for women and adolescent girls. In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the numbers are even more alarming, making it crucial to act fast and effectively.

Under Project Amma, Artist For Her has partnered with the Vitamin Angels Alliance to bring innovative, evidence-based solutions to the grassroots.

💬 Dr. Hema Divakar, Chairperson & CEO of Artist For Her, shared:

“This collaboration is a milestone in bringing cutting-edge digital training and global best practices to the grassroots. By empowering ASHA workers and nurses through innovative digital platforms, we’re building the capacity to address anaemia where it matters most — within communities.”

Through Project Amma, ASHA workers and nurses from two blocks in Kanpur have been trained using advanced digital tools, enabling them to deliver quality care and guidance. Equipped with non-invasive hemoglobin testing, human-centered counselling, and strong inter-departmental coordination, the program is creating a sustainable, scalable ecosystem to fight anaemia among mothers and adolescent girls.

This initiative is not just a program — it’s a movement towards a healthier, stronger, anaemia-free India. ❤️✨
