POSTURE ISSUES - THE MOST DISCUSSED TOPICS

Correct Posture is important to avoid stress on the spine and discs. Avoid continuous sitting in a single position, like forward bending the neck while using the phone, crossed-leg sitting for a long time, or any posture that causes stress on the spine.

People that find it difficult to sit straight and slouches a lot should always try to take proper middle spine support and adjust the pelvis and shoulder and elbow so they get proper support. Changing position helps reduce stress. Do not engage core all the time so the spine and pelvis muscles do not overwork.

A person who has a stiff and rigid spine and is upright and is complaining of pain may well benefit from slouching and relaxing back in their chair, and as a result, reducing the over-activity of their spinal muscles.

Both should be encouraged to take regular breaks and move more. The approach to fit one posture for all typically does not help, and especially if there is pain, it is not easy to maintain an upright position all the time.
