A planet posited in zodiac will not only influence the sign it occupies, but said to influence some other specific points in the zodiac as well. This phenomenon is called DRISHTI or ASPECT.

The effects can be "Purna Dristi"(full) or "Vishesha Purna Dristi"(special full) and Fractional Dristi.
The aspect is not only on the sign, but also on the planets there in. At times taken equal to be posited in the sign.

Well one can dwell further into various classics and books for deeper understanding. Here, I am noting down few.

1. Purna dristi

All planets cast their Full aspect on the 7th sign from the sign occupied by them.

2. Vishesh purna dristi.

Saturn has special full aspect on 3rd and 10th.
Mars has special full aspect on 4th and 8th.
Jupiter has special full aspect on 5th and 9th.

3. Fractional Aspect.

a). All planets have quarter aspect(25%) on the 3rd and 10th sign. (exception - saturn)

b) All planets have half (50%) aspect on 5th and 9th sign. (exception - jupiter)

c) All planets cast three quarter (75%) aspect on 4rth and 8th sign. (exception- mars)

Note- It is advised to beginners not to use the fractional dristi as this may need some deeper understanding. The strength and dignity of the planet is must study for right analysis. Flat applications must be avoided for all above rules.

Important- Whenever a planet aspects its own sign, it gives power to it.

The problems with Rahu.

Rahu and ketu are the nodes. Mathematical points in the space in respect to earth.
Jyotish is entirely a geocentric model of space. Where the space is seen in respect to one being placed at certain geographical co-ordinates on earth. In this respect, the relative motion of planets or grahas (includes sun and moon) is taken into consideration.

In this evaluation, sun and moon have a trajectory around earth. The crossing of their paths.. mathematical points in the space form rahu and ketu.

Although there are mythological views about how rahu and ketu behave. The scientific evaluation is that they are mathematical points in space. The fear psychosis around these points are huge in my observation. At times making a person almost fixated with worries. Missing out the practical and logical points of living a progressive life.

Today's time is of huge confusion. Specially when I see youngsters struggling with their career choices or love life. There are some serious cases of obsession and addictions also. While many such attributes can be allotted to rahu.. yet, one cannot forget that will power and balance is so equally important. Rahu (desires) n ketu (detachment) the chhaya grahas.. can be related to moon (the mind) and the sun (soul). And the battle of mana.. मन and the soul is where the confusions begin.

Unless for desire theres no birth.. rather than being in confusion.. one can channelise the desires in right direction to be progressive and constructive. Rather than giving so much weightage to the nodes, which adds fear and judgements.. the focus can be on the other planets as well.

Saturn and health ---

Saturn, whether functional malefic or functional benefic in the chart is capable of creating constriction ,obstruction ,contraction in the circulatory system on the axis ( both houses of axis ) of placement and body organs denoted by those houses of axis and also body parts denoted by the sign in which its placed.The result of this constriction is accumulation of toxins ( Amla in Ayurveda ),which results in lesser functioning of the organ and in some case if house Lord and house has more than two afflictions ,it will result in loss of that organ.
There r two kinds of vata ( air ) in body ,positive and negative.Positive vata if balanced will result in proper neuron function or nervous system and intestine and this is represented by Mercury in the body.A strong Mercury ensure positive vata.Negative vata is root cause of many problems and is represented by Saturn.This negative vata is opposite of the growth and balance.It increases decay process and lesser functioning of the organs.
In medical astrology Saturn rules over the immune system ( Along with sun ), the bones, teeth. If somehow it is weak or badly afflicted or influenced in the horoscope so it gives all type chronicity of a disease and degenerative diseases, painful diseases, cancer, arthritis, leg fracture, diseases of glands (glandular), tumours, idiocy, elephantiasis and insanity, paralysis, rheumatism, skin diseases, gout, rickets, flatulence, coldness of the body, deformities, nerve disorders, indigestion, insanity, dyspepsia, senility, numbness, impotency in men, intestinal obstruction, retention of urine etc..
It rules joints, tendons, spleen, nerve tissues, teeth, skin, knees, part of leg between ankle and knee, bones, phlegm & secretive system.
Saturn rules the Gall bladder. Due to the obstructions it creates skeletal deposits in the region known as gall stones. Due to retention of Urea it causes painful rheumatism and gout which often manifest in the deformity of the joints. It has got the ability to contract the muscles causing deformity and joints and disfigures and disability and suffering therefrom.
Saturn rules the teeth and the skin ( skin due to lordship of Capricorn ,which rules over skin ) It can cause tooth decay, leading to malnutrition, it affects the digestive system slowing down the secretion of digestive fluids.
Saturn with any planet would tend to create problems regarding the organs or part of the body represented by that planet.

Remedies: There is one famous saying in Ayurveda " we r what we eat " .So remedies start right from the eating habits.Vata accumulation in body happens due to many reasons but prime reason is when food is not digested properly.The main mistake we do while eating is that we don't chew the food more.Macimum people chew their food thrice or four times,which is wrong.when food is not chewed more ,it becomes difficult for stomach to burn it properly. This creates imbalance in whole digestive system and intestine is for absorption of materials mainly and not for burning food .One needs to chew the food at least for 20-25 times. The Saliva has digestive enzymes which helps in breaking down the heavy molecular structure of food in to lesser form. This habit will eradicate 50 percent of the problems .

2. Saturn is air in nature and it constrict the circulation. so breathing is the second most import remedy to improve the circulation in various parts of the body .Breathing ( pranayama ) increases the circulation to every part of the body. Controlled breathing is wonderful remedy prescribed by the seers.

3.keep your body pH level alkaline. If body remain acidic in nature then you r inviting serious trouble to your body.
4. Diet is very important and try to eat diet which balance the humors.For.eg. In Saturn's case Anti vata diet and herbs r mandatory to use.
Note : When there is disease ,its due to imbalance of the three humors in body and will be corrected only if you correct the imbalance of humors by diet,excercise and herbs ...rest all the remedies which have nothing to do with balance of elements will not help in recovery of diseases.

For better or worse.. DETERMINATION & GOOD INTENTS manifest.

From last few years many relationship cases came to me.. yet some showed the signs of strong will.. in spite of astrological denials to them.. I adore the good intents in youngsters who wanted to be with the other, specifically men, who valued the woman they loved so much to move mountains to be with them for life. I do not support obsession of any kinds, or even girls chasing men for the sake of social gratification. Yet, the truth and authenticity of their emotion is quite visible in a horoscope. Where one needs to add a dose of will to resolve amicably and family support is important.

When both the parties show authenticity in love and cooperation.. the wishes manifest. As they say, khudi ko kar buland itna, ki khuda bande se poochhe bata teri raza kya hai.

Vedic astrology helps in the process where one is a seeker of knowing own self, so as to improve one's life and be happier.

While knowing future helps one to look at life with hope. Mostly to come out of present difficulties and challenges. What helps in longer run.. is to know own abilities and strengths, and work to develop the weaker side for a better life.

Being PRAGMATIC is important.

The 12 houses reflects and contains All possible attributes, life conditions and karma.
There are two sides to each, fixed and changeable. Am trying to note few below, Please take the essence of it.

1st house:

APPEARANCE - Features what one is born with is mostly fixed. Say the built, height, looks etc. (Other than that, there is plastic surgery, and offcourse exercise etc to influence built to quite good extent.)

IDENTITY and PERSONALITY- These two are quite in own hands to BE the way one want to make it. Even a maligned identity can be recovered.

2nd house : The Family and Accumulated wealth. One is raised in a family.. part is destined. Attitude towards money and family - is own... is something that can be worked on.

3rd house : Siblings, cousins, courage, self efforts. And own nature and attributes towards it.. which are quite flexible and can be developed.

4th house : Mother, vehicle, home, heart. Attitude towards mother and home.

5th house: Children and creative force, risk taking ability. A good horoscope analysis will tell if the intent is worthwhile. And yes, it can be improved.

6th house : Enemies, Disease and Debts.

A lot can be done in such cases. Medical Science helps. Good financial knowledge helps. And understanding, whats creating the enemies helps to overcome.

7th house : Spouse and Partnership.
When it is about spouse, apart from past karma.. to receive or not a long lasting happy marriage, It's one's own attitude towards marriage and relationships.

Often wonder why loss and liberation can be same house? Its end of a cycle..12th to the 1st, identity/ego is at loss here. Hence reflecting the natives attributes of imagination, assumptions, dreams and clairvoyance.
