The changing health care services domain continues to alter the healthscape totally with the penetrative advent of technology, invasion of variant viral pandemics and the changing lifestyle of humans across the globe. The private healthcare segment has been in the forefront in catering it's services, particularly carrying the onus of serving the mass population both in the urban and rural areas, predominantly.

In these trying times and to look forward, we at PHANA Karnataka continue to lead from the front in preparing for the oncoming challenges. A session on "LEADERSHIP FOR THE EMERGING FUTURE" was recently organized by PHANA and Sri Fredi D'Souza spoke on the subject effectively, which was a real eye-opener and indeed motivated many enterprising fellow doctors.

In a glittering evening, PHANA Karnataka had its new leadership change, yesterday.

The AGM & GBM of the organization witnessed new team to steer the body for the period of 2022-2024.

Dr. Govindaiah Yatheesh, took over the mantle of Presidentship from the outgoing President Dr. H M Prasanna and his new team now consists of the following office-bearers-

Dr. Shobha Prakash - Hon. President Elect (2024-2026)
Dr. Rajashekhar YL - Hon Vice President
Dr. ML Giridhar - Hon. Secretary
Dr. GV Divakar - Hon. Treasurer
Dr. Santosh Saklecha - Hon. Jt. Secretary

Speaking on the ocassion, Dr Govindaiah Yatheesh, said that PHANA Karnataka with its existence of 2+ decades of serving the people across the state, has firmly established itself with the core values of providing quality and affordable healthcare services. He said that the organization has become strong with great leadership by the previous teams and some of them have created even greater legacy in the process. He wished to take it further to make PHANA Karnataka, more people friendly healthcare service providers, under his tenure.

On the occasion of the biannual meet, Private Hospital & Nursing-home Association - PHANA, Karnataka is organising 3rd National Health Summit - 2022 on 17th & 18th December, 2022 at Sheraton Grand Gateway, Bengaluru.

The National Health Summit takes up the subject of healthcare and medical services in context to the general public and more focussed towards community driven agenda. The session intends to brainstorm on various topics such as affordability and sustainable health care, tomorrow's challenges and crisis handling, future innovations, tech invasions, best health-care practices, medico-legal subject, health insurance, women's health-care and the success stories from the tier2/3 cities.

The general public can stay tuned to hear further deliberations of the proceedings by the weekend. Private health-care segment in the State, continues to lead the initiative of disbursing better quality of health services partnering with all the stakeholders, judiciously.
