MBBS Phase I | Batch 2025–26

The PTM Committee of Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital (RRMCH) successfully organized the first Parent–Teacher Meeting for MBBS Phase I (2025–26 batch) on 19th February 2026 at Kadamba Auditorium 🏛️✨

📧 Prior to the meeting, detailed academic reports — including internal assessment marks and attendance — were shared with parents via email, ensuring meaningful and focused discussions.

🎯 Objectives of the PTM

🔹 Review academic progress and attendance
🔹 Explain university eligibility criteria for final examinations
🔹 Address concerns related to hostel, fees, and administration

The session began with an inaugural address by Dr. Prathibha K., followed by a welcome note from the Dean, Dr. Sathyamurthy, who highlighted the importance of strong parent–faculty collaboration 🤝📚

Dr. Shruthi, Chairperson of the Institutional Mentor–Mentee Program, presented key academic guidelines, attendance requirements, and university norms.

💬 Interactive Discussions

Parents engaged in constructive conversations with mentors regarding academic performance, learning challenges, and improvement strategies.
Heads of Preclinical Departments, hostel wardens, and academic section representatives were present to address queries and provide guidance.

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ Student volunteers from the 2025–26 batch efficiently coordinated the event, ensuring smooth interactions throughout the day.

📊 Parents of 111 students attended in person, and valuable feedback was collected to enhance future PTMs. The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for June 2026.
