"You are the product of your perception, so no one can enhance your perception except you." That kind of self-awareness is a huge step when you're dealing with deep trauma or navigating big transitions.
Therapy doesn’t replace your inner work or perception, but it can act like a mirror. A good therapist doesn’t give you answers—they help you find your own, guiding you to shift or expand the lens you’re seeing life through. Still, the growth always comes from you. You're the one doing the heavy lifting.
When trauma is involved, the transition phases can feel even more intense because they sometimes bring old wounds back to the surface. Therapy—or any deep reflection—can help you see how those past experiences shape your current perception and how you might start reclaiming them.
