We are delighted to host the Annual Congress of The Neuromodulation Society, Indian chapter of the International Neuromodulation Society, on November 15th-17th, 2024, at Bengaluru, India.
Our congress offers an ideal platform for neurologists, neurosurgeons, pain specialists, psychiatrists, urologists, physiologists from india to interact with the international experts, engage in debates, and learn from each other’s experiences. We encourage young researchers to present their work and provide opportunity to engage with the best in the domain of neuromodulation.

Early Disc ageing due to sedantary work and lack of exercise, is contributing to 40% of the total Low back pain in our population.
While Surgery poses its modest risk of degeneration at the corresponding segments of fixation, trauma, besides being economically burdensome with hospitalisation and absence from work , pain medicines have their long list of side effects from habituation to organ toxicity . Ongoing research shows the possibility of regeneration of disc structures in future but lacks clear evidence and guidelines for now. A definitive answer to the clinical dilemma and morbidity produced by discogenic backpain lies in the minimally invasive procedures like Biacuplasty or disc annuloplasty which uses cool RFA( radio frequency) a break through technology to repair the torn disc aswell as give pain relief from the malfunctioning painful nerve endings (neoinnervation) of the disc. The procedure is quick, done in daycare , is safer, with minimal side effects and proves to emerge as a promising innovation providing relief and helping numerous individuals to recover to a full functionality and enjoy a good quality of life…. Happy to have presented my talk as a subject expert at AIIMS Rishikesh, on the topic that is so pertinent in today’s living and the results speak themselves for the positive effects of this treatment modality . Thanks to the organisers for giving me this opportunity to share my work.

Patient safety is a critical aspect of delivering quality healthcare .
I feel fortunate to have steered this dialogue on “improving patient care and safety while creating safety net for doctors” at BWHealthcare summit and 40 under 40 awards .It was an incredibly invigorating discussion with the stalwarts in healthcare industry on various strategies emphasising clear communication, making patients a part of their treatment plan , creating awareness about patient rights and responsibilities, to create a safety net for patients , doctors and healthcare providers .This has to become a culture , a norm that our country has to strive for.
