Acting & Psychology – A Beautiful Intersection
As a psychologist and special educator, acting has always been my rescue, my expression, and my bridge to deeper understanding. For the past seven years—with a two-year hiatus in between—acting has been more than just a passion; it has been a transformative tool that enhances my work with clients, whether they are a 6-year-old child discovering the world or a 62-year-old woman rediscovering herself.
Stepping Into Someone Else’s Shoes
Acting is all about living someone else’s reality, feeling their emotions, and seeing the world through their eyes. This is also the very essence of psychology—understanding people at their core. Through my performances, I’ve cultivated the ability to read emotions beyond words, making it easier to connect deeply with my clients and support them on their journey.
People often ask, “How do you build such an instant connection with your clients?”
Well, the answer lies in the stage! Every role I play teaches me something new about human nature, emotions, and the unspoken stories behind every individual. This practice naturally reflects in my work, helping me communicate, empathize, and heal more effectively.
Here are some glimpses of my performances over the years, each one shaping me as an actor, psychologist, and human being. Grateful for this journey! ❤️
