One of the deepest lessons parenthood teaches is the art of surrender.
You surrender to sleepless nights, to changing rhythms, to the unknown.
You learn to release control—not in defeat, but in deep trust.
And slowly, this surrender seeps into all corners of life.
You begin to live softer, love deeper, and hold outcomes a little lighter." 🌸

🌿 1. The Surrender of Expectations

You enter parenthood with dreams, plans, and checklists.
But slowly, gently, they are replaced by presence.
You learn to surrender expectations—not because they were wrong,
but because reality is more raw, more sacred, more real."

🕊 2. Control Was Never Yours

You plan nap times, feed times, milestones…
Then your baby smiles at 3 a.m., wide awake.
And you smile back.
Because control was never yours—love was."

🌸 3. Tiny Teachers

These tiny beings arrive with no instructions,
but they teach you how to pause,
how to breathe,
how to let go of who you thought you had to be.
They teach surrender—not as giving up,
but as opening up.

⭐4. Surrender is a Muscle

Each time you let go—of a routine, a plan, a belief—
you grow softer.
Stronger, too.
Surrender isn’t a weakness.
It’s the quiet strength of choosing peace over perfection.

🌼 5. From Control to Connection

In the letting go, you connect.
With your child.
With your breath.
With the present moment.
This is the secret gift of surrender—it leads you home.

This is also called Hypervigilance. And it can lead to burn out over long periods of time.
Your nervous system is just doing what it thinks it must—
Stay ready. Stay alert. Protect.

It's very similar to being in a driver seat all the time and you just can't rest.

But you can try to alter this state with mindfulness if letting go with support from family and not forgetting to lie down and close your eyes every time your baby naps and practicing simple breathing (even Pranayam or Yoga Nidra if you can) .

Take care , and sending lots of love and care to all the Moms nurturing , caring and growing !

And learn basic Yoga asanas, Pranayam and Meditation practices that too can help you Relax along with improving your overall energy !

As I look back...
The heaviest load isn’t the baby care or small chores.
It’s the people.
It’s managing relationships.
It’s communication.
It’s the emotional labor of holding space for everyone’s needs

It’s maintaining the fragile, shifting balance of a family ecosystem—and how to make that all work at once without breaking.

It’s nursing a kid sometimes through constant sickness, only to wait for the next virus to make its way through our home. It’s parenting a deeply-feeling hard willed child with no script, no guidebook, just raw instinct and unconditional love.

It’s questioning myself constantly—Am I doing enough? Am I doing too much? Should I be more patient, more strict, more relaxed, more firm? Why am I on my phone again? Why do I feel like I’m failing even when I’m trying so hard?

But I keep going.
And after so many years all I can say is that it does get better as you too GROW with the child 🫰🏼

It's the same feeling as they say in the show business "the show must go on".
For them.
For me.
For love.

Postpartum recovery timelines are anywhere between 1 year to 5 years !
Yet gentle and impactful practices like Yoga can help in stabler and earlier recovery through :

1. muscular recovery :

As we know, pregnancy leads to women’s bodies undergoing a number of changes. Ligaments and joints in the pelvic region can become unstable, and the weight of the fetus places a significant strain on the pelvic floor. Weakened muscles in this region can also lead to a periodic loss of bladder control, which can be a further complication for new mothers to have to deal with.

The wide range of postnatal yoga benefits make it an effective form of intervention to guard against these changes. Specific postures focus on exercising key muscles and joints, regaining balance and mobility, and restoring core strength without placing undue strain on the body. Yoga after delivery to reduce tummy fat can also have a positive effect on abdominal muscles that may have separated during pregnancy, helping to knit them back together and restoring their usual function.

2. aids weight loss :

Yoga after delivery in the Ashtanga style can be especially useful components of a postnatal recovery routine. The style includes energetic postures, synchronized with specific breathing patterns, which contribute to weight loss, also helping to tone and energize the body from head to toe.

Aside from the physical benefits, research shows that yoga after delivery can even have an additional positive impact on mental wellness and help alleviate the symptoms of postpartum depression.

3. improves blood flow :

Post delivery yoga exercises can have a stimulating and detoxifying effect on the circulatory system, helping to improve the movement of fluids throughout the body. Additionally, it promotes hormonal balance, and studies have shown that it can also enable the repair and regeneration of tissues that may have been weakened or damaged during pregnancy.
