We are delighted to share a proud moment from the Career Mela held at the Government School in Malleswaram.

One of our talented students with special abilities, Shilpa, received wonderful encouragement when Dr. C N Ashwath Narayan purchased one of her paintings. Along with him, Mr. Praveen, ECO, Mrs. Hemalatha, Nodal officer, and several others also appreciated and purchased her artwork.
Moments like these truly motivate our students to believe in their abilities.

Thank you to everyone who supported and encouraged Shilpa’s talent. Your appreciation strengthens our efforts at Sama Foundation to nurture skills and create opportunities for persons with disabilities. 🎨✨

Art has the power to create visibility, confidence, and inclusion.

At Chitra Santhe, our young artist from Sama Foundation had the opportunity to showcase her talent on one of Karnataka’s most celebrated art platforms. Moments like these remind us why inclusive spaces matter—when given the right support, ability shines beyond barriers.

Grateful to Asianet Suvarna News for featuring this journey and amplifying voices that deserve to be seen and celebrated.

Sama Foundation, in collaboration with REVA University, organised a Boot Camp on Inclusive Agriculture – From Barriers to Solutions. The discussions highlighted how disability-friendly agriculture can protect land and property rights of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) while opening up livelihood opportunities across the entire agricultural value chain—from inputs and production to processing, markets, and value addition.

Participants emphasized the need for accessible tools and technologies, disability-friendly Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), and community-managed agro-service centres to reduce drudgery and enable meaningful participation of PwDs. Integrated agroecological farming systems were seen as critical for building climate resilience, healthy food systems, and sustainable livelihoods.

There was also a strong focus on policy and systems change—leveraging government investments, ensuring access to subsidies, promoting organic inputs, solar-powered infrastructure, and PwD-led indigenous seed banks.
Inclusive agriculture is about rights, dignity, and sustainability.

Childhood matters - The joy we build today becomes the strength they carry into tomorrow.

On World Disability Day, we celebrated Makkala Habba — a day where inclusion came alive in the most beautiful way.
We brought children with disabilities and non-disabled children together on one colourful platform filled with music, games, dance, paint, and endless joy.

From the formal inaugurations to the fun-filled activities, every moment reflected courage, confidence, and the true spirit of Inclusivity. Children stepped forward to sing, dance, and express themselves freely, while parents, teachers, and staff joined in, breaking routine and celebrating togetherness.

For many, it was more than an event — it was a reminder that when we create inclusive spaces, every child finds a place to shine. 💙🌈

Her hands heal, her heart leads!

When vision is challenged, insight becomes a gift.
Our physiotherapist, who sees the world through courage and compassion, has been transforming lives—one healing touch at a time.

Today, we proudly celebrate her well-deserved recognition by the Blind Persons Association, Ahmedabad for excellence in physiotherapy.
Her dedication has brought remarkable improvement to children with disabilities, elders, and many individuals beyond our organization.

She reminds us every day that true ability lies in determination, not sight.
Congratulations on this remarkable achievement! 🌟❤️
