PostMenopausal Ovarian cysts are common however Giant (>10cm) Ovarian cyst is a rare finding because of the early detection of adnexal pathology with the advent of routine imaging modalities. Serous tumours are commonly seen during reproductive period and 50% of them occur before 40years of age. Most of these cysts are benign in nature with a chance of malignancy being 7- 13% in premenopausal women and 8- 45% in post menopausal women.
The above pt (63 yr old) presented with abdominal distension and vague abdominal pain. Scan showed a large ovarian cyst 25*21*18cms with a volume of 4419cc. The histopathology came as benign serous cystadenoma.

Circumvallate Placenta is a variation in placental morphology in which the amnion and chorion fetal membranes double back around the edge of the placenta.The prevalance is estimated to be around 1% to 7%.Though most of the pregnancies are uncomplicated, it has been associated with a higher incidence of placental abruption and IUGR( intrauterine growth restriction).

The above patient had an uncomplicated pregnancy.The mother and baby were healthy after delivery.
