Astra Super Speciality Hospital, established in 2018, has been delivering advanced medical care across multiple specialties, including gynaecology, with an unbroken record of zero maternal mortality in cases under our direct care.
Recently, we received a patient named Ms. Tanushree in a critical condition for emergency management. She was under the care of an outside Doctor who is not associated with our hospital, and had not visited our facility for antenatal check-ups. Her delivery and surgery were performed elsewhere. Unfortunately, due to a pre-existing medical condition, her health deteriorated despite our intensive efforts, and she sadly passed away.
We provided the best possible care for her newborn, who was under our supervision for four days and continues to receive regular paediatric follow-up from our team.
We extend our deepest condolences to her husband and family during this time of grief. We deeply admire his strength and devotion as a father, and we pray for the health, happiness, and bright future of the child in the years to come.
