What is Dental Fluorosis?
Dental Fluorosis is a change in the appearance of the tooth’s enamel surface. Common cases of Fluorosis do not cause pain or affect the function of the tooth when in a mild form appearing as white markings on the tooth’s enamel which are difficult to see with the untrained eye. However, with severe Fluorosis the enamel may have pitting and unsightly brown spots.

Studies by scientists and researchers have shown that dental fluorosis is caused by consuming too much Fluoride. With this knowledge, the team at BioMin Technologies created BioMin® F toothpaste to deliver lower levels of Fluoride. The slow-release technology still provides enough Fluoride to rebuild and protect the enamel but with the reduce the risks of any side effects.
