A two day orientation training was conducted for medical students selected under the Vivekananda Medical Scholarship Programmme. Karuna Trust provides a nominal financial scholarship to students studying in Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and Mysore Medical College & Research Institute This year out of nearly 75 applications, 27 were selected for this scholarship programme.

Karuna Trust takes over Urban Primary Health Centre, Adugodi under the Public Private Partnership model. The UPHC was inaugurated by Shri Ramalinga Reddy, Home Minister, Government of Karnataka. The UPHC was renovated by Bosch India
