* School students are vulnerable to health and other security risks
* Many students carry inherent health issues
* A captive population
* Recent trends have spotlighted the risks that schools face
How BLISS Helps ??
* BLISS teaches you to recognize an emergency and give first aid until an ambulance arrives
* It is scientifically structured, activity-rich and imparted by trained instructors
* It’s simple enough for even a sixth grader
BLISS helps children
* Give first aid in a safe, efficient, timely manner
* Manage medical crises until external help arrives. Target group
* Students of grade 6 and above
* Teachers, managers, admin, security, drivers and other staff. Only 2% population is trained in first aid. Even less capable of assisting someone in an emergency
This is because people think:
* First aid is non-essential
* It is difficult to learn and practice
* Only 5% of schools offer first aid programs
