Counselling techniques involve active listening, emphatic understanding, releasing the pent up feelings confronting the client and so on. Counselling therefore is offered to only those individuals who are under serious problem and need professional help to overcome it. Help can be required at any stage by anyone in today’s lifestyle. My child is fighting with other students in class
My husband no longer has the time for me and I cannot talk about it to my friends
I don’t feel like I have a life anymore, I feel like killing myself
I cannot handle my colleague staring at me all the time
My boss wants me to work late
My marriage is almost over
My girlfriend is cheating on me
My mother in law wants me to give my entire salary to him
My wife does not mingle with my friends
I don’t feel like getting up from the bed and facing the world
The reasons are umpteen. The solution can be a counsellor in the form of a friend.

Loving yourself is hard if that's your prime focus.
Go step by step:
Allow yourself to enjoy your surroundings.
Give a pat when you deserve it.
Hug yourself when you need one.
Have a chocolate for the effort.
Wear your favorite dress.
Put on that makeup you have been avoiding.
Grab that drink that you love.
And then,
Simply fall in love. ❤
