Skin care tips for INDIAN WOMEN !

26/11/2014

If you are an Indian woman and are dying to know what skin care tips for INDIAN WOMEN you should be using, check out my tips below!

1. MOISTURIZER WITH SPF

Indian skin tones typically burn way easier than any other skin tones, so make sure that you are moisturizing with a moisturizer that has SPF in it. Truthfully, this could benefit every single skin tone out there! The higher the SPF, the better, as you want to make sure that you are protecting your skin! So, my first skin care tip for Indian women would be to invest in an SPF moisturiser!

2. EXFOLIATE

Because Indian skin is typically a little bit more oily than most, you have to exfoliate. You could use something like a sugar scrub to exfoliate or you could use a cleanser with exfoliating agents inside of it, it is all your choice! This skin care tip for Indian women will keep your skin looking beautiful and fab all the time!

3. LEMON JUICE & HONEY FOR OILY SKIN

If you really want some natural skin care tips for Indian women, why not try a honey and lemon juice facial? This mask can actually draw out the oil in your skin and can truly make sure that your skin looks really, really pretty constantly. It'll also make sure that your skin is healthy and glowing!

4. HONEY, OATMEAL & EGG YOLKS FOR DRY SKIN

If you have dry skin, another skin care tip for Indian women is a honey, oatmeal and egg yolk mask. Whisk it all together, place it on your face and pat it in. After you leave it on for about 15 to 20 minutes, you can wash it off with warm water and your skin should be more hydrated and radiant!

5. KNOW YOUR SKIN TYPE

When you are looking for skin care tips for Indian women, you want to make sure that you know your skin type. This means you should know if your skin is oily, if it is dry or if it is a combination of the two. That way, you'll know the best way to treat your skin and how to make it look beautiful!

6. CLEANSE TWICE A DAY

A lot of Indian women feel the need to cleanse their skin twice. This can be good and bad. For me, I cleanse once, but I wash my makeup off with just warm water. If you do cleanse twice, make sure that you are applying a moisturizer twice, as you want to make sure that your skin stays super hydrated and still looks beautiful at all times!

7. AVOID ABRASIVE CLEANSERS

Finally, the last skin care tip for Indian women that we're going to talk about is avoiding super abrasive cleansers. You don't want something that has a ton of chemicals or something that is going to be super harsh and hard on your skin. Just get a cleanser that is very light, airy and will clean your skin, not make it blotchy and hard!

Having clear and beautiful skin is every woman’s dream but with today’s busy schedules, polluted environment and harsh rays of the sun it becomes very hard to maintain a healthy and clear skin. Pimples, blemishes, spots, tanning and other factors stop us from having that clear flawless skin we always have looked forward to. With the growth of the skincare industry this problem can be taken care of but there are lots of other easy ways to achieve a clear and glowing skin too. Here are some homemade face packs for clear and glowing skin which can be made easily to get flawless skin in the natural way.
3 Face Packs for Clear Face Skin

1. Neem, gram flour and curd face pack:

Things you will need:
• Some neem leaves/neem powder
• 1 tablespoon of gram flour
• 1 teaspoon of curd.

Method:
1. Put the curd in a bowl.2. Then add gram flour and make a paste3. Take some mashed neem leaves/neem powder, and make a mixture of all three ingredients.4. Use this mixture on the clean face for 10-15 minutes (till dry) and wash off with cold water.
The yogurt keeps the skin soft and moisturizes it and the neem leaves help in providing a glowing skin. Neem uses in the face packs to act as an antiseptic as well. It also helps soothe eruptions and boils or acne if any. It is great natural agent and is known to provide clear skin from a long time in the past.

2. Almond honey and saffron face pack:

Things you will need:
• 4/5 almonds soaked in water/milk overnight
• 1 teaspoon of honey
• some strands of saffron soaked in 2 tablespoon warm milk
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice.

Method:
1. Take the soaked almonds and grind them into a paste. 2. Add the saffron infused milk to this paste and also add the honey and the lemon juice.
3. Make a smooth paste and apply on the skin evenly, keep it on for 10-15 minutes.4. Once dry, wash off with cotton pads soaked in milk or cold water. This pack gives a glowing effect. The saffron helps to lighten skin tone and reduce appearance of spots, honey tightens the skin; almond along with the lemon removes the dead skin and this makes the skin clear and glowing.

3. Banana and yogurt face pack:

Things you will need:
• 1 ripe banana-peeled and mashed
• yogurt 1 tablespoon
• honey 1 teaspoon
• lemon juice 1 teaspoon
Method:
1. In a bowl add the mashed banana and yogurt.2. Later add the honey and lemon juice and mix all into a smooth paste.3. Use this face pack on the face and the neck and leave it on till its dry and rinse off.4. Lemon is a natural bleaching agent and will help to give you a glowing clear skin. Banana is great for glowing skin too.5. The skin of a banana is great for whitening teeth too.6. Curd is a moisturizing agent as well

Using Organic Skin Care Products & Make-Up
Organic Skin Care

As many people turn to organic alternatives for their food and household cleaning items, they are discovering that there are more things that they can do to enhance green living. It's no wonder that organic skin care products and organic make-up are increasing in popularity as well.

Consider this: Government regulations allow virtually any ingredient to be used in the manufacture of products that we use daily on our skin, hair, and nails, and in the water we drink. It only makes sense to get to the computer and your local library in search of healthier options.

The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) establishes the regulations and standards in the United States regarding the manufacture of drugs & food.³ The problem is that they do not pay as much attention to skin care and make-up as they should, thereby allowing some very harmful chemicals to be used in creating almost every product that is mass marketed.

Some of the harmful ingredients that are used frequently in manufacturing the most common non-organic skin care and make-up items include:

Mercury
Dioxane
Nitrosamines
DEA
Cyclomethicone
Ammonium Laureth Sulfate
Alcohol, Isopropyl (SD-40)
Polyethylene Glycol
Polyethylene eth-
Most of these compounds are absorbed easily by the skin, yet the body has no way of ridding itself of them. The toxins remain in your intestine and eventually get spread through the body and can damage organs throughout your body.

Read Product Labels & Learn About What You're Getting
Organic Skin Care Products

If you want to protect your body from the harmful ingredients that are used in most commercial brands, you should check out organic skin care products and organic make-up. Of course, you will need to get in the habit of reading product labels, just as you probably do already when it comes to the foods that we buy.

We are all concerned about our health and well being, which means that it is important that we are proactive in choosing products that are good for us. Choosing organic skin care products and organic make-up does not have to be a tedious process.

Once you have become reasonably familiar with the "bad" ingredients that are so commonly used in skin care products, you will learn to recognize the difference between synthetic & natural products. Becoming a more informed consumer will allow you to make smart choices while shopping for your organic skin care products.

It may get a little frustrating when you're initially trying to decipher labels because there are so many ingredients listed. One thing you can use that will help you to decipher product labels is to break each label into thirds. Focus on these ingredients first, because they usually make up the majority of the product.

The rule is that the ingredients should be listed in descending order according to the amount that they make up the formula. For example, if you have a product that is 88% aloe and 90% water, the water would be listed first, the numbers show there's more water than aloe. Alphabetic listing does not override this.

What to Look for on Organic Skin Care & Make-up Products Labels
Some of the ingredients that you will find present in many type of skin care products, including organic skin care products & organic make-up:

Emollients
Humectants
Emulsifiers
Surfactants
Preservatives
What you need to know about these essential ingredients for all organic skin care products and organic make-up is that there are both synthetic and natural versions of each. Synthetic emollients, humectants, emulsifiers, surfactants, and preservatives are all harmful for our bodies. At one time, such a task might have proven to be an enormous undertaking, but with the wealth of information that is available to us on the Internet, researching almost any product is a task that is relatively simple, and well worth the effort.

10/09/2014

Hi !
In order to reduce stretch marks and itching during or after pregnancy, moisturize your skin. Its important to use a moisturizer to hydrate the skin on your belly, sides, lower back, thighs, legs, and anywhere else you might get stretch marks. Regular lotion won't pe*****te the skin deeply enough to keep it hydrated, so use a product specifically made for pregnant women, or choose a natural oil.
Cocoa butter, almond oil, shea butter and wheatgerm oil are popular and effective choices for moisturizing skin during pregnancy.
