The Wardrobe merch game turned into an unforgettable office experience.

A lit-up wardrobe on wheels became the centerpiece of the office as it rolled through every department bringing the game to life.

When their turn came, employees had to pick numbers and read a card linked to a merch product. But there was a twist — to win it, they had to pitch or convince another employee to take it. If the pitch landed, the product was theirs to keep.

The energy was electric. Laughter, cheers, and some serious selling skills filled the space. The wardrobe quickly became the showstopper of the day and turned the fun activity into an experience to remember.

Independence Day is more than a date on the calendar-it’s a tribute to our rich past and bright future.

At SmartQ, we brought the spirit of freedom to life at our client’s workplace through the theme of "Flavours of India". We did engage our customers through vibrant décor, delightful flavours of food, and engaging experiences!

Cafeterias were transformed with the colours of the tricolour, creating a festive atmosphere that filled every corner with pride and joy.
Employees joined in the fun with interactive scratch cards, completing playful tasks reminiscing the joy of freedom and our rich culture of the country, sharing memorable moments, spreading patriotic cheer across the floor.

And, of course, no celebration is complete without indulgence - Tri coloured breakfast, beverages, Tiranga-themed cakes, desserts, Buffet and special treats added the perfect touch to this unforgettable day.

From leadership updates and business highlights to celebrating achievements across teams, it was a space to pause, reflect, and look ahead together. A standout moment was the launch of Udemy access for all employees, unlocking new paths for learning and growth. We also revisited our UK & I Hackathon win, and shared progress on our AI journey. The energy in the room was real and the surprise offsite video was the perfect way to close on a high. Here’s to everything we’re building, together.

The Zerodha Varsity Quiz wasn’t just about getting the right answers. It tested how well you could think on your feet, work as a team, and handle pressure.

7 teams. 21 participants. 4 rounds and a close tiebreaker.
The quiz covered topics like finance, entrepreneurship, economics, and business. What stood out wasn’t just the knowledge, but the presence of mind and teamwork.

What’s the best thing about summer?

The monsoon that follows!

At our office, we welcomed the monsoon the SmartQ way! With loads of fun and delicious food. The cafeteria was decked out in vibrant monsoon-themed décor, creating a warm and inviting vibe.

An origami activity brought out everyone’s inner child, with colourful paper boats and frogs rekindling everyone’s favourite monsoon memories.

A monsoon special menu featuring rainy-day favourites from piping hot pakoras, crispy vadas, steaming chai and more added flavour to a joyful day.
It wasn’t just a celebration of the monsoon, it was a celebration of togetherness, flavours, and the simple things that bring out the joy during the monsoon.

With 4 high-energy teams, including our SmartQ team, Compass UK&I's Hackathon event was a showcase of how cross-functional collaboration can fuel innovation. From early discovery and narrative shaping to prototyping and solutioning, each team pushed boundaries and built something tangible in limited hours.

Team SmartQ stood out with a solution that hit the mark, securing their win at the Mini Hackathon. Big cheers to Ankit Chaturvedi, Nishant, Shankarsh, Fluck, Zakki, Tam, and Madhu for their thoughtful, well-rounded solution. Special thanks to mentors Abhishek and Keshav for guiding the teams throughout the sprint.

This hackathon wasn’t just about solving a problem, it was about exploring what we can unlock when different perspectives come together with a shared purpose.

From "Can I?" to "I Can."

That became the essence of the latest ImpactX experience — a move from asking Can I? to knowing I Can.

This shift was sparked through thoughtfully designed experiences that nudged participants beyond their comfort zones.

From striking up conversations with strangers in Cubbon Park to tackling real-world tasks that demanded quick thinking, fearless creativity, and seamless collaboration, the session was anything but conventional. It moved beyond meeting rooms and into the heart of experience-based learning. Throughout a day filled with dynamic, hands-on challenges, leadership came alive through immersive activities that encouraged participants to drop inhibitions and find solutions on the go. The session offered a space to reflect on personal presence and embrace cross-functional teamwork, as the power of diverse thinking unfolded in real time.

A heartfelt thank you to the facilitators from Laureate Global, RAHUL DEV … and Priyanka Das, for guiding the journey with intent and insight. And kudos to Nishant Sethi, Priya Rajput, Ajit Nayak, and Navneeth Sulakhe for curating a session that truly captured the spirit of ImpactX.

Last week, our India Digital Café team came together for a high-energy, two-day hackathon focused on enhancing the user experience through our solutions. The event was led by Abhishek, with key contributions from Madhav, Bhaskar, and Gururaj. Participants included enthusiastic members from our App, Backend, QA, Design, and Product teams. They collaborated to prototype smarter, more seamless journeys for our users. The enhanced solution is already in motion and rollout is coming soon!

With 65 members from SQ Global, Product & Growth, Marketing, and Growth & Strategy, our UK Tech Team came together for three days of collaboration, connection, and shared experiences at Sportico Resort, Malur.

The offsite focused on building stronger bonds, enhancing teamwork, and promoting cross-functional collaboration. The agenda included a range of interactive ice-breakers, strategy-led challenges, and engaging team-building activities designed to foster participation and trust. Members also took part in a variety of adventure activities including ziplining, kayaking, rope courses, wall climbing, and pool volleyball, while some chose to unwind and recharge with spa sessions.

This offsite was a great reminder that strong, high-performing teams are built beyond daily work through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and time well spent together.

From ice-breakers with quirky team challenges and competitive games to strategy-led activities like human chains, formation games, and water relays, every moment at the Global Tech Offsite was designed to strengthen connections and foster collaboration across teams.

The Global Tech team, including SQ Global, Product & Growth, and IT, came together at Silent Shores Resort & Spa, Mysore for two days of interactive learning, team-building, and alignment.

A standout this time was the spontaneous game of pool basketball, which quickly became a crowd favourite - blending teamwork, healthy competition, and plenty of laughter. Adding to the energy was Deepu, our emcee, who kept the sessions lively and engaging.

With active participation from the leadership team, this gathering served as a reminder that strong teams are built beyond boardrooms, through shared experiences, collaboration, and trust.
