Dear all,
Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ranganath, the owner of Public TV, after several years. Our conversation left a lasting impression on me. He spoke about how he built his organization from scratch, starting with second-hand furniture, cubicles, and materials — all of which are still in use even after 15 years.
What struck me most was his extraordinary commitment to his employees. He has provided each one of them with health insurance worth one crore rupees. Meals in the canteen are served at just five rupees a plate. Every two years, he sends all his employees, including Group D staff, on international vacations. For long-term employees, he has even purchased sites and contributes fifty percent of the cost for constructing their homes. On top of that, the salaries he pays are significantly above market standards.
Despite being a well-known public figure, he remains humble, grounded, and deeply humane. He personally took me around his office, explaining every detail — not as a boss showing his empire, but as someone genuinely proud of what his team has built together.
He also shared stories from his recent trip to Antarctica, describing it with such passion and wonder that it felt like I was there with him.
Meeting him reminded me that true leadership is not about titles or fame, but about compassion, integrity, and the way you lift people around you. I left feeling inspired and grateful.
