VISION:
To appreciate, teach and promote Carnatic music, irrespective of the barriers of age, caste, religion, state or country and also to apply philosophy and principles of Carnatic music in our daily lives

OBJECTIVES:
To be a premier centre for imparting knowledge of Carnatic classical music, especially the flute
To encourage students to absorb, perform and spread Prapancha’s unique school of thought by ushering in the convergence of knowledge, skills and values in music
Nada Chikitsa - to explore the use of music in healthcare domain to address physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of individuals of all ages

COMMUNITY:
Prapancha has students from all walks of life and ages. The organisation trains the students to appreciate, learn, perform and teach Carnatic Music. Our students are settled all over the world and continue their “Sadhana” through regular collaboration and concerts

‘Prapancha’ The World Of Music is happy to invite you all to our upcoming Bi-Monthly program on Sat 13-Sept-2025, 5pm to 6.30pm at BM.Shri Hall, 3rd Main, NR.Colony, Bangalore.

“Divine Rythms” is a series of Lecture Demonstrations planned on our Indian classical percussion instruments. The first such Lec-dem will be on *Mridanga*, conducted by renowned Mridangam artist Vidwan P. Sreenivas Murthy.

The 40th anniversary celebrations of Prapancha The World of Music and Shri Purandaradasa, Shri Thyagaraja Aradhana on 11-May-2025 was indeed a memorable day.
Our Chief guest - Kargil War Hero Capt Naveen Nagappa truly moved us to tears with his inspiring words. Our hearts swelled with pride reminding us to be eternally thankful to the men in uniform 🙏🏽
We were also honoured to felicitate senior musicians Vidwan TR Srinath (renowned flautist) and Vidushi Revathi Sadashivam (renowned Veena artist). We also thank all artists who facilitated rendition of Pancharathna krithis.

Prapancha mourns the unfortunate demise of renowned Carnatic vocalist and guru Vidwan Shri DV Nagarajan on Sat 14-Dec-2024 in Bangalore.

A maha vidwan mentoring hundreds of students, Shri DVN was a long standing patron of Prapancha, wholeheartedly supporting us in all of our events and initiatives. The pancharatna goshtigaayana during Thyagaraja Aradhana, will never be the same without him.

We pray paramaatma to grant aatmashaanti and sadgathi to Shri DVN sir🙏🏽
