Most of our work happens behind closed doors to protect the confidentiality of our clients and the process of therapy they go through.

But every now and then, there’s a moment of breakthrough that we get to share with the world like this one.

A young client who is working on receptive speech through music therapy answered these questions with her therapist,

Over the past few months, not only has she shown improvements in her ability to have conversations but the therapeutic relationship she shares with has significantly impacted her openness and motivation to continue working on her goals.

Leaving the Voice Alone is the brain child of our clinical psychologist and ExAT practitioner, Aishwarya!

Aishwarya is a Psychologist (Clinical Specialization) and an Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner (ExAT-P). She finished her Masters in Clinical Psychology from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy from St. Xaviers College (Autonomous), Mumbai. As a mental health professional, Aishwarya has worked in a hospital set up during her clinical specialization and has experience in working with adolescents through geriatric population. She believes that no single size fits all, and an eclectic approach that is tailored to the concerns of the individual is the way to go and wants to continue to synthesize traditional psychotherapy with the Arts.

Madhuri Talim (She/ Her) is a certified Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner and a Dance Therapy Facilitator. She received her training in ExAT from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. She deeply believes in the therapeutic potential of the arts to facilitate growth and holistic well-being. She strives to work towards an ethical and reflexive practice that is inclusive and trauma- informed.
