The Association of People with Disability The Association of People with Disabilities is an NGO working on the comprehensive rehabilitation of economically marginalized people with disabilities.

For the last 52 years, APD has worked on the comprehensive rehabilitation of economically marginalized people with disabilities. Through grassroots rural and urban community programmes that include therapeutic services, mobility aids, integrated education, advocacy and livelihood training; APD has been able to transform the lives of over 28000 persons with disability. With an estimated 70 million

persons with disability in India, APD is among organizations that are at the forefront of the urgent, nationwide movement to overcome the growing challenge to support, rehabilitate and include people with disability into mainstream economy and social life.
