മലയാളത്തിന്റെ ഭാവ ഗായകൻ പി. ജയചന്ദ്രൻ നമ്മോട് വിടപറഞ്ഞു.മലയാളിയുടെ പ്രണയത്തിനും വിരഹത്തിനും സന്തോഷത്തിനും സന്താപത്തിനും കൂട്ടായി ആ ശബ്ദസൗഭഗം എന്നുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.1966ൽ മഞ്ഞലയിൽ മുങ്ങിത്തോർത്തി എന്ന ഗാനത്തിലൂടെ മലയാളികളുടെ മനസിലേക്ക് ഒരു അനുരാഗഗാനം പോലെ കടന്ന് വന്നു ഇടം പിടിച്ച അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വേർപാടിൽ കേരളസമാജം ദൂരവാണി നഗറിന്റെ യുവജന വിഭാഗം ഇരുപതോളം ഗായകരെ അണിനിരത്തി **ദേവരാഗം**എന്നപേരിൽ ഗാനാഞ്‌ജലി അർപ്പിക്കുന്നു.വരുന്ന 25 ന് (ശനിയാഴ്ച)4 മണിക്ക് ജുബിലീ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഹൈ സ്കൂളിലെ (NRI ലേ ഔട്ട് )ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ വെച്ച് നടത്തുന്ന പി. ജയചന്ദ്രൻ അനുസ്മരണ പരിപാടിയിലേക്ക് ഏവരെയും സദയം ക്ഷണിച്ചു കൊള്ളുന്നു 🙏🏻🙏🏻.
