Diagnosis - To***co pouch keratosis
Etiology(cause) - habits (including to***co, gutka etc ) which usually keep in one oral cavity for longer duration.
Symptoms (what patient complains of) - usually no symptoms but some time it can cause mild burning sensation.
Sign(what doctor sees) - keratosis or blanching on mucosal region.
Biopsy - usually not required, if it's advanced or extended lesion let your doctor decide.
Treatment - at initial stage no treatment required only stopage of habits is enough to recover. At later stage stopping of habits, administration of antioxidant contain food and medication, mild local anaesthetic application for symptoms.
Recovery - takes from few months to years depending upon lesion.
Prognosis - Good
Recurrence - less reported.
