Dr. Zamindar's Microsurgical Eye Centre (also known as ZMEC) is a speciality eye care facility with a mission to bring the best in modern technologies with a touch of expertise-driven personal attention to our patients. We strongly believe that 'Quality is never an accident' and strive to ensure the best possible visual outcomes. With locations in Jai Bharath Nagar & Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore, we have been serving patients for the past 24 years. We have a dedicated paediatric and neuro-ophthalmologist running a Wednesday morning OPD at Kalyan Nagar centre with prior appointments. We specialize in Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma, and Squint Management. We also run a Retina clinic in association with a Retina surgeon, who has an expertise in the diagnosis of retinal problems and their management with lasers. With a success rate of 99.9 % in performing cataract operations, Dr. Zamindar's Microsurgical Eye Centre has established its reputation as quality providers of the best-in-class eye care services since 1997.

Zamindar Eye Foundation - an Initiative of Zamindar Microsurgical Eye Centre - hosted a special Community Vision Leaders meeting, bringing together individuals who are committed to protecting vision at the grassroots. We believe that protecting vision is not just a medical responsibility - it is a community movement.

Most vision loss in India is avoidable.
Yet it continues to affect millions simply because symptoms are missed, ignored, or recognised too late.

Our CVL initiative brings everyday citizens into the frontlines of eye health by empowering them to:
• Identify early warning signs,
• Guide families and neighbours toward timely check-ups, and
• Spread reliable, accessible eye-care knowledge where it matters most.

The morning was filled with purpose, learning, and heartfelt stories from volunteers about why they chose to be part of this mission. Their commitment reinforces one truth:
