Anxiety is the sleepless nights when your mind just won’t quiet down. It’s lying in bed, staring at the ceiling, replaying everything you said, and imagining everything you didn’t. It’s your thoughts running laps when all you want is peace.
Anxiety is waiting for a reply that takes too long and convincing yourself you did something wrong. It’s that voice in your head whispering that they’re upset, even when there’s no reason to believe it. It’s creating stories that only exist in your mind and believing every one of them.
It’s saying “I’m sorry” when there’s nothing to be sorry for. It’s trying to control what’s out of your control and feeling guilty for not being able to. Anxiety isn’t weakness. It’s a weight that many carry quietly. You’re not alone in it. 💭
