Chinder, an Orthopaedic Oncosurgeon alongwith a advanced Joint replacement Surgeon, A Plastic Surg

eon and A Vascular Surgeon. The team closely works in accordance to the tumour board comprising of all the divisions of an advanced oncology Center. The Center's services include the multidisciplinary management of sarcoma by a highly experienced team of physicians, including rehabilitation medicine, radiation oncology, medical oncology, pathology, musculoskeletal radiology and anesthesiology. The team provide complete treatment for several hundred patients a year with complex musculoskeletal oncologic problems, many with relatively rare bone and soft tissue sarcomas. In most cases, our surgeons able to save your limbs so that you can continue to maintain mobility. Advances in techniques of surgical procedures, technology and adjuvant nonsurgical treatments like intraarterial chemotherapy, hyperthermia and targeted radiation therapy allow our physicians to completely remove tumors while maintaining limbs, sparing significant surrounding healthy tissues and maintaining a substantial amount of functional ability. The Musculoskeletal Oncology Department at HCG offers care for:

Benign lesions of bone and soft tissue
Metastatic disease to skeleton and extremities
Routine orthopedic surgery on oncology patients
Mega Prosthetic replacement and revision joint placement in medically complex patients. Biological reconstructions using Massive Allografts. Management of orthopedic complications of oncology treatment
Radiofrequency Ablation for benign tumours. Planned Biopsy procedures which are most neglected and of utmost importance
Spine tumors and Spine metastasis which requires complex planning and ex*****on. CATS - Computer assisted Tumour Navigation Surgery in orthopaedic Oncology
