Akshar Yoga was founded in the year 2010 with an intention to facilitate a global reach of Yoga irrespective of caste, creed or colour under the illuminating guidance of Grand Master Akshar. Suited for the contemporary lifestyle, Akshar Yoga’s methodology was effective without being overwhelming. This system offered the freedom of choice to practitioners to adopt the form of Yoga that resonates most with them. The Organization is now India’s largest yoga chain with 20 Centres spread across the city of Bangalore alone.Akshar Yoga offers a wide variety of Professional Teachers’ Training Courses. Innovations such as Power Yoga, Akshar Yoga Wheel, and AY Aerial Yoga can be considered as preparatory training for advance ancient courses of Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Kundalini Yoga. Super Brain Power Yoga for school students and Corporate Wellness Courses for working professionals are latest additions to the existing bandwidth of programs here. Akshar Yoga along with APMG International has also enabled its certified professional teachers to register for Government of India recognized YCB (Yoga Certification Board) certification by the Ministry of AYUSH.

Akshar Yoga has pioneered a revolution by establishing an educational and professional format in Yoga. ISO Certified, Akshar Yoga currently has 3000 yoga teachers under its banner and has trained more than 10,00,000 practitioners worldwide including China, Australia, US, UK, Japan, Netherlands etc. Along with our sister schools in France and Iran, Akshar Yoga is purposefully working towards making several further additions, both nationally and globally.

Akshar Yoga is credited for being the official trainer for the Indian Military personnel in special techniques of Yoga asanas, pranyama and meditation. Teachers representing Akshar Yoga have conducted Corporate Wellness programs at several prestigious companies like Mitsubishi, Reliance, Amazon, Philips, Infosys, Flipkart, HSBC, Brigade Group, ABB and Sheraton etc. Akshar Yoga is also in collaboration with Many University to devise special Diploma and Degree Courses in Yoga studies. Over the last 2 years, Akshar Yoga has acted as the official ‘Knowledge Partner’ for India’s leading publications Indian Express and Times of India. Grand Master Akshar has various Yoga related articles to his credit which have also been published in several top magazines and health journals. Akshar Yoga’s prestigious association also extends to Ministers, Government officials, Counsel General of nations and more.

Akshar Yoga is resolutely working towards creating a canopy of multiple yogic practices to help people burdened by metropolitan living achieve complete restoration, healing and self-improvement in all aspects of physical, mental and spiritual health.

With the global market as projected audience, Akshar Yoga’s Teachers’ Training Courses aims to achieve numbers of up to 7000 teachers who can in turn guide practitioners. Akshar Yoga is simultaneously working on offering quality organic products for improved living. Akshar yoga is closely working with World Yoga Organisation and International Siddha Foundation to channelize resources to achieve its goals.
