A tooth is said to be impacted when it is not able to erupt in the oral cavity or not able to erupt in line and position with its adjacent tooth..Teeth affected-1) Mandibular 3rd molar also known as wisdom tooth.. 2)Maxillary 3rd molars 3)Canines.. Symptoms- 1) Pain in affected tooth.. 2)Pain and inflammation around the gums of involved tooth.. 3)Pain radiating to ear and head causing ear pain and headache.. 4)Pain during swallowing at the involved area.. 5) Trismus-Inabilty to open mouth normally.. Keep your teeth clean by Flossing at least once a day especially in the night followed by brushing..!!During night there is reduced flow of saliva as there is no movements done by mouth which provides for reduced saliva flow and increased bacterial activity.. Happy Teeth=Happy You..!!:-)

Tooth if not taken care of properly by Brushing,Rinsing ,Flossing and without visit to dentist for checkup.. can lead to gum problems which further when aggravated can cause damage to supporting tooth structures (periodontium)causing periodontitis..and further loss of tooth..
