Hydraulic head machining in automotive applications demands controlled multi-angle precision.

In this application, the component was mounted in two distinct setups: angular-side machining in the first operation, followed by bottom-side machining in the second. With milling limited to defined zones, maintaining indexing accuracy and repeatable positioning was essential to ensure consistent surface finishing across faces.

The URPQ 200HS CNC Rotary Production System, integrated with a hydraulic fixture, delivered stable angular movement, controlled indexing, and reliable repeatability, supporting accurate multi-surface finishing within a two-setup process.
