ॐ Why Sumeru Yoga!! ॐ
Sumeru is a name of Lord Shiva. Shiva meaning "The Auspicious One", also known as Parameshwara (the Supreme God). Shiva is regarded as one of the primary forms of God, such as one of the five primary forms of God in the Smarta tradition, and "the Destroyer" or "the Transformer" among the Trimurti, the Hindu Trinity of the primary aspects of the divine. Shiva is also regarded as the patron god of yoga and arts.
- Yoga is the physical, mental, and spiritual practices done with a view to attain a state of permanent peace. Yoga is much more than those poses. Derived from the Sanskrit word "yuj" which means "to unite or integrate"; yoga is a 5000 year old Indian body of knowledge. Yoga is all about harmonizing the body with the mind and breath through the means of various breathing techniques, yoga postures (asanas) and meditation. Yoga is the union of the individual psyche with the transcendental self. At Sumeru Yoga we help you connect with your inner self and with the Shiva Tattva present in you. About the Teacher -
