The main objective of the Trust is to build a strong and resurgent India through the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and in this regard to undertake the following:
1. To establish and run schools, education centers, vocation training centers, hostels and ancillary centers;

2. To provide study materials to poor students, to grant scholarships to poor and deserving students to enable them to continue their studies.

3. To organize blood donation camps, health checkup camps, eye donation camps etc.

4. To identify and provide an opportunity to the budding talents by organizing various cultural programme like dance, music, drama, singing, sports etc.

5. To run integrated development programme to improve quality of life of the people living in rural and tribal areas;

6. To conduct meetings, training camps, workshops, seminars etc in all fields and all such related activities for economic empowerment and overall development of personality and art of living;

The Song of the Sannyasin
Param Culture proudly presents The Song of the Sannyasin, a captivating multimedia production inspired by the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Scheduled on April 25th at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, this event is a grand multi-media theatrical musical depicting the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda through his own writings. The 2-hour multimedia musical features live music, dance and theatre by 35 internationally renowned artists performing songs written by Swami Vivekananda in Kannada, Bengali, Sanskrit, and English along with Songs written on Swamiji by other eminent poets like G S Shivarudrappa, Kuvempu and more.

Notably, The Song of the Sannyasin, which was performed in January, is now being staged again by Param, driven by the overwhelming success and popular demand from the audience.

Param aims to take the philosophy and teachings of Swami Vivekananda to every home. This is a perfect family show which Entertains, Educates and Elevates, making children’s summer vacation meaningful. The show is being conducted under the guidance of renowned Music Composer Pt. Praveen D. Rao and Film Director Shri Karthik Sarguru.
