At Augmenta Health, we have always approached 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 not only as clinical care, but as a public health practice rooted in the Indian context.

Spaces. Conversations. Language. Everyday interactions. Small, accessible interventions.

And 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐋𝐮 emerged from exactly this way of thinking, grounded in culture, shaped in India, and designed for real-world public engagement.

What feels significant is not just that it is published.
It is that a culturally rooted, India-born public mental health practice has entered a global academic conversation.

A simple question guided us:
𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞?

𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐋𝐮 is our attempt to answer that by drawing from familiar cultural forms in 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 and transforming them into structured, evidence-informed, publicly accessible mental health engagement.

From practice → to a live installation at 𝐍𝐈𝐌𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞 → to documentation → to international publication.

5 months. 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 → 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫.

This publication is not a departure from our work. It is a reflection of it.
