The one-day hands-on Ultrasound Workshop on First Trimester Scans (11 to 13+6 weeks), conducted on OPUS Simulators on August 10th, was a runaway success.
Focussed learning was ensured by limiting participation to just 10 delegates, despite having many more registrations. The latter will be accommodated at another course, coming soon. For enquiries kindly mail @ workshop.fgi@gmail.com
The programme enabled participants to learn and refine their ultrasound skills in performing fetal biometry and morphological assessment at the first trimester scan.
The course’s mainstay was screening for aneuploidy, preeclampsia, and preterm birth, with in-depth, supervised training on measurement techniques, image interpretation and clinical applications.
