At HDR Health Care Foundation and Artist for Her, women’s health has always been at the heart of our mission. Guided by Dr. Hema Divakar’s vision, we are committed to not only treating illness but preventing it—ensuring that women and girls everywhere have access to the tools and knowledge they need to lead healthier lives.

HDR Health Care Foundation and Artist for Her, in collaboration with Divakar Service Trust and the Hassan OBG Society, are determined to build a generation of healthy, informed, and empowered women.

A new FIGO position statement published in the International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (IJGO) shares the growing body of evidence on the effectiveness and safety of the HPV Vaccine and urges countries to strengthen HPV vaccination programmes to eliminate cervical cancer.

Cervical cancer is a preventable disease primarily caused by persistent infection with high-risk types of the human papillomavirus (HPV) and remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related death in women globally. In this comprehensive statement, FIGO calls for urgent, coordinated action to scale up HPV vaccination, reaffirming its safety and effectiveness as a public health strategy to eliminate cancer.
