The year 1987-88 saw the birth of EMBIOTIC LABORATORIES (P) LTD. The operations began with the state-of-the art manufacturing unit in 1992 at Magadi Road, Kottigepalaya, Bangalore, the Garden City of INDIA.

The untiring - bolstering efforts of its beloved Managing Director Shri. Kantilal . V . Jain, were responsible for setting up this manufacturing facility. Well known for his outstanding services and achievement, Mr. K.V. Jain was conferred the BHARAT VIKAS AWARD by the International Business Council.

EMBIOTIC started manufacturing wide range of formulations for marketing in various states of INDIA. The Kottigepalaya facility was soon awarded GMP Certification as per WHO Standards. In 2005, in view of Growing Demand for its products, the EMBIOTIC commissioned Second Modern state-of-the art facility at Kumbalagodu, Bangalore. Presently EMBIOTIC has high volume capacities and manufactures formulations in various dosage forms –tablets, capsules, liquids and oro-dispersible tablets. EMBIOTIC also does contract manufacturing of Ointment and Creams, Small volume Injectables, Eye and Ear drops. By April 2008, EMBIOTIC commissioned Additional in-house facilities for External Creams and Ointments as well as Dedicated Oral Cephalosporins facility. All the facilities are equipped with latest GMP Model Machineries and Analytical Equipment. The Kumbalagodu facility is also GMP certified as per WHO standards as well as Indian New Schedule M.
