Proud to share my recent magazine article on robotic cardiac surgery — a field that is steadily transforming the landscape of cardiac care in Karnataka and across India.

Robotic heart surgery is no longer a futuristic concept. It is a powerful, evidence-based advancement that allows us to offer greater precision, smaller incisions, reduced pain, and faster recovery — without compromising surgical excellence.

As cardiac surgeons, our responsibility is not only to perform successful operations, but to continually evolve and bring global standards of care closer to our patients. The adoption of robotic technology in India reflects our commitment to innovation, safety, and patient-centric outcomes.

We are at the beginning of a significant shift in how complex cardiac procedures are delivered. I am honoured to contribute to this movement and to help expand access to advanced, minimally invasive cardiac surgery in our region.
