Namaste !

Being a yoga teacher these days is not at all easy when the world is loaded with many kinds of people including those who are going through anxiety , depression and mental disorders.. There might be a few who will bounce back at you ,abuse you , mentally torture you for helping them!! Sometimes it's their inability to understand the reality and they really need help! Being in the path of yoga it is very important for us to help them, assure them about healing at the same time to be cautious while teaching them as they can create any story out of what we are trying to do!
This post might disturb few , but this is how it is sometimes, not always!!

I recently had a "so called friend" in cow's face but later turned in to a fox!!, I have empathy instead if agony!! one of the first and probably last such case ever in my career of 4 years of healing many lives with yoga for lots of ups and downs in their life and none ever complained and left my sessions!!

So beware yoga teachers !! We just spread love, still we need to be careful !! If there are bad/wrong teachers , then there are bad/wrong students as well!!! Lessons of life β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡ .

Remedies for menstrual cramps.
I would also suggest to sit in badhakonasana , Malasana each for a minute or as long as it's comfortable and lie down in supta badhakonasana with a pillow for the lower back till the pain subsides.

Practice Yoga regularly with the above postures and many other hip and pelvis openers , and inversions to ensure the above asanas are done in the right way and your body is flexible with these asanas . Menstrual days shouldn't be the only days when you start or practice these asanas.

A very happy 5th International Yoga to all of you!!
The only wish I have with respect to this day is, let this one day become everyday for all.. let's live Yoga everyday πŸ˜€πŸ’πŸ’

Few points I would like to mention on this day, with respect to a general yoga practice. See if you are aware of it , if not try to implement it or ask your teacher about it. Or feel free to comment here.

Do you know ?

1. You should never speak, laugh or watch anything during your yoga practice ?
2. You should always begin with a centering method like breath awareness of a mantra and always end with a cooling practice ?
3. You should never jerk ,pull or push your body to get in to an asana out of your limitations?
4. You need to engage each part of the body, mind and breath when you are in a posture?
5. Closing your eyes is as important as your asana? It's a pratyahara section of Patanjalis eight limbs of yoga.
6. There are 3 types of breathing? No I am not talking about of pranayama!!
7. Just sitting and breathing slowly and being aware of your breath can relax you completely in and out?
8.There are few powerful Panama's which can cool you down or increase the heat of the body within 5 minutes?
9. There is something known as yogic sleep which touches the subconscious kind and helps to get rid of the anxious state of the mind and many more hidden issues triggered by the mind?
10. Personal discipline and moral discipline is a must to benefit from your Yogasana practice ?

If few or many are new to you , get in touch with a trained teacher or if you are fortunate enough to have a traditional Guru and ask them in detail !!

Yoga... It's not a sport or an exercise form. Yes, it brings fitness , stamina and strength, but it can heal inside out. Don't think twice before joining yoga sessions. This is the day you need to find one . Don't attempt from YouTube videos , thats not the safe and effective way to practice.

Regular practice of Yoga with a lifestyle modification can balance your thyroid within 6 months.. that is you can be "out" of taking that early morning pill. Isn't it a ridiculous way to start the day!! With a pill πŸ˜”

Kids yoga at Yoga Kuteeram

They do Yoga in school as it has become curriculum in most of the school's now. But how they do is all that matters .. most of the time, they simply to to a posture and try to show their flexibility skills.. that's not the one which we should make children do. There is a "way" , or "steps" to reach in to a posture or Asana and there are "methods" to modify it and there is a "way"or "steps" to come out of an Asana. All these are very important, especially for children as their body is very tender and instead of doing good it can harm if not done properly. There are few asanas which are not suitable for children of young age.
It's the time you look about this and ensure your kids are with a right yoga teacher.

Ash gourd, carrots, fresh grated coconut, like juice , pinch of salt, roasted peanuts and Indian tempering using coconut oil. High prana giving/Pranic (energy), great detox if had on empty stomach.
Most of the people don't eat this vegetable. This is one in the top list when it comes to yoga and Ayurveda.
