The Association of Gynecological robotic surgeons of India(AGRS) conducted its level 1 certification examination in Gynecological robotic surgery in association with SERGS on 4-6 th October in Bengaluru,India
Happy to be a faculty and examiner for the same.
There was lot of enthusiasm and energy in the candidates.The did two days of extensive practice followed by the examination.
Special thanks to Dr. Kamal Malik Swati GuptaMurugan Arumugam and others Intuitive surgicals India for their help in conducting the program!

Visited the city of Guhuwati,Assam for our regular opd clinic.
Heartening to see all our treated and follow up patients.
Very satisfying to see them do well in their life.Evaluated few new patients and suggested them the further treatment options!Had a nice interaction over a cup of Assamese chai with the representatives of the local print media..Highlighted the problem of Gynecological cancers ,its prevention and treatment options with emphasis on cervical ,ovarian and endometrial cancers.Spoke to them briefly about newer treatments options.

Visit to Kalaburgi (Gulbarga) for my regular opd centre health is always a fantastic one..It’s always a privilege as well as a pleasure to see all our treated patients .It was fantastic to see all the patients do well and go back to their normal lives..They all feel like an extended family to me.Also evaluated new patients and suggested them treatment options!
Also was invited for a talk by the departments of OBGY and General surgery for a talk at the KBN medical college,Kalaburgi.
Thank you to Vishal Shirsi Dr. Vijayashree Mathad for facilitating and all the arrangements.

These are the days that make u feel very content n proud of the work that you do.(Image reproduced with permission and consent)
A young lady with recurrent gynecological cancer who underwent an exenterative surgery with us 4 yrs back came for follow up to our clinic.
The lady had an amazing attitude towards life!She manages the stomas,is a tailor and does all the household activities as well.
Her husband and the family have been very very supportive of her .
I felt proud and privileged to be her treating doctors.Just makes us think back n ponder “Why do we worry about so many minor things in life?”
Also as treating oncologists it’s important to offer patients with recurrent cervical or endometrial cancer an option of exenterative surgeries which can still be a curative option!
