Everytime I meet my friends or family we all speak about how there is a day or two left for the weekend and unfortunately the weekend so long awaited for disappears within no time. You barely do a few chores at home, get groceries for the week, plan a dinner out, all amidst crazy hectic city traffic and p**f the weekend has come to an end! And you're already looking at the long week ahead! The thought that crosses my mind when I think of this is, well is this really the life we all have wanted to lead? We slog all week and the two magical days most often fly by like magic and you're back on your toes preparing for the next week already. Do you look forward to your week? Do you feel rejuvenated after the two days you get? Do you get enough rest? Have you really enjoyed your weekend? Is it something that's impossible? No! There are ways you can become more aware and understand how you can live each of these moments on your weekend and let the serenity and peace linger longer through your week! It's called being mindful! Yes it is an effort at first, but it is worth it. It's only an effort at the beginning, once you start practicing being mindful, it eventually becomes you! Start now! Don't let time fly by in front of your very eyes!
