Institute Of Manual Therapy & Taping (IMTT) has a specific Objective of Teaching Concepts of Manual Therapy & Therapeutic Taping via regular Workshops

Over the years, a physiotherapist`s approach towards rehabilitation of musculoskeletal ailments has changes significantly. The focus has shifted from rest & immobilization to quick relief & restoration of mobility and function. With these changes, the choice of therapeutic tools has changes as well. from electrotherapeutic modalilties to condition specific exercise prescription & manual therapy with aim to resolve the underlying dysfunction rather than only treating the symptoms. Manual Therapy has a wide array of concepts and approaches that target soft tissue abnormalities as well as bony malpositions and dysfunctions. Myofascial Release, Trigger point pressure release. Positional release therapy & Muscle energy techniques are a few approaches that help optimize myofascial dysfunctions and normalize function. Another portable tool that helps a physio in getting better & quicker results is the Therapeutic Tape, which is a portable, strong & temporary support that conforms to the contours of the body and helps in the prevention as well as rehabilitation of musculoskeletal ailments. there are various types of tapes available, including but not limited to the Kinesio tape, Rigid tape, Athletic tape, elastic tape, underwrap etc. Our prime motto at "Institute Of Manual Therapy & Taping" is to train maximum physiotherapy students & Practitioners in the Various concepts of manual therapy & Taping, making them equipped to resolve musculoskeletal ailments with relative ease & in shorter time duration, through the regular hands-on workshops that we conduct throughout the country on a regular basis.

Efficacy of Taping In Neuro cases is something that is always asked by participants in our workshops. We often see good results of Taping In Neuro cases like stroke, fascial palsy etc but fail to document it, hence the dearth of evidence.
This is a small attempt in the same direction.!
