Surrendering oneself to the highest source of energy that one believes in (God, Nature, Light etc..) is essential to achieve even the 1st of The 8 Limbs of Yoga.
I always include this aspect in my personal practice and my classes mandatorily, as it helps us all to be grounded and stay focused & determined towards our goals.

Day 11 - Surya Namaskara - Hasthauttanasana

Posture-

🌸 From Paadahasthasana, elevate the spine and stretch arms up, in line with ears and bend back

Breathing-

🌸 Breathe in

Day 8 - Surya Namaskara - Parvatasana / Adhomukha Svanasana (mountain pose / downward dog)

Posture-

🌸 From bhujangasana, pressing the palms onto the mat, lift the hips up to the sky
🌸Tailbone pointing upwards
🌸 Feet fully flat on the mat (beginners may choose to lift the heels off the mat)
🌸 Push the crown of the head towards the mat
🌸 Stretch and straighten knees and elbows (beginners may bend the knees, if required)

Breathing-

🌸 Breathe out

Benefits-

🌸 Brings agility and strength to arms, shoulders, back and legs
🌸 Strengthens the core
🌸 Improves posture
🌸 Relieves stress and depression, as it increases the blood flow to the crown of the head

Posture 6 - Surya Namaskara - Ashtanganamaskara (8 fold)

Posture-

🌸 From santolan/plank, place knees, chest & chin on th mat
🌸 Toes stay tucked in
🌸 Chest in between the palms
🌸 Abdomen off the mat, up in the air
🌸 Tailbone pointing upwards
🌸 Elbows tucked in, close to your body

Breathing-

🌸 Hold your breathe post breathing out in plank, until next posture

Important Benefits-

🌸 Strengthens the arms and shoulders, works on both biceps and triceps
🌸 Improves back and spine mobility and strengthens them
🌸 Relieves back pain & stress

Day 4 - Surya Namaskara - Ashwasanchalanasana

Posture-
🌸 From Paadahasthasana, stretch your right leg all the way back
🌸 Right knee straight / Beginners can keep the knee slightly bent
🌸 Palms firmly pressed onto the mat / Beginners can lift the palms up and keep the fingers / fingertips on the mat
🌸 Look forward and fix your gaze

Breathing-
🌸 Breathe in

Benefits-
🌸 Strengthens the legs
🌸 Improves the functioning of abdominal muscles by massaging them
🌸 Helps in balancing the nervous system

Day 3 - Surya Namaskara - Paada Hasthasana

Posture-

🌸 From Hastha Uttanasana, elevate the spine and roll forward
🌸 Press palms on the mat, next to the feet, shoulder width apart
🌸 Incase you cannot reach your palms to the mat, bend knees and press palms on the mat, after few days, try to straighten your knees

Breathing-

🌸 Breathe out

Benefits-

🌸 Stretches and strengthen the hamstrings and spine
🌸 Relieves stress and calms the body and mind
🌸 Massages the digestive organs, which improves metabolism
