Supe, Baramati सुपे परगणा

छत्रपती शहाजी राजे यांची जहागिरी असलेला सुपे परगणा, स्वतःची ऐतिहासिक ओळख असलेले गाव सुपे, श्री मयुरेश्वर अभयारण्य सुपे देखील प्रसिद्ध आहे. बारा वाड्या आणि तेरावे सुपे म्हणून तालुक्यात प्रसिद्ध असलेले सुपे गाव, आज बारा वाड्या स्वतंत्र ग्रामपंचायत बनल्या आहेत तरीही आठवडे बाजार मात्र सुपे गावातच भरतो शेजारील दौंड आणि पुरंदर तालुक्यातील देखील लोक बाजार करण्यासाठी सुप्यात येत असतात, बाजारपेठ, मार्केट, शिक्षण सर्व काही सुपे मध्ये आहे.

जिल्हा परिषद प्राथमिक शाळा सुपे, विद्या प्रतिष्ठान संस्थेचे सुपे इंग्रजी माध्यम शाळा, पुणे जिल्हा शिक्षण मंडळ श्री शहाजी माध्यमिक व उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय, विद्या प्रतिष्ठान संस्थेचे कला वाणिज्य विज्ञान शाखेतील पदवी पर्यंत शिक्षण देखील सुपे मध्ये उपलब्ध आहे.
शासकीय रुग्णालय देखील आता नवीन बांधकाम सुरू आहे. महावितरण चे शाखा कार्यालय, तलाठी कार्यालय देखील सुपे गावात असल्याने कोणत्या अडचणी येत नाहीत, नव्याने होत असलेले पोलीस ठाणे देखील गुन्हेगारीला आळा घालेल.

बारामती पासून अंदाजे 30 किलोमीटर तर पुणे पासून अंदाजे 70 किलोमीटर वर असणारे सुपे गाव येथून अष्टविनायक मयुरेश्वर गणपती, मोरगाव 8 किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे. आता पुणे महानगरपालिकेची PMPML बससेवा सुरू झाली आहे, केडगाव रेल्वे स्टेशन देखील 17 किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे, तसेच दौंड रेल्वे जंक्शन 50 किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे. पुरंदर आणि दौंड तालुके जवळच असल्याने, शिरूर - सातारा रस्त्यावरील एक मोठं गाव म्हणून ओळख असलेले सुपे.
बारामती मतदासंघाचे आमदार माननीय श्री अजितदादा पवार, माजी कृषिमंत्री श्री शरदचंद्रजी पवार साहेबांचे देखील सुपे भागात कायम लक्ष असते आणि दौरे असतात.
