विशेष पूजन समय- 29 अक्तूबर शाम 6 बजकर 31 मिनट से लेकर 8 बजकर 13 मिनट तक रहेगा क्योंकि धनतेरस पर विशेष पूजा शाम को होती है।

भगवान धन्वंतरि को चिकित्सा और आयुर्वेद का देवता माना जाता है। मान्यता है कि समुद्र मंथन के दौरान, देवताओं और असुरों ने अमृत की खोज की थी और तब धन्वंतरि अमृत से भरा कलश लेकर समुद्र जल से बाहर निकले थे। धन्वंतरि को भगवान विष्णु का अवतार माना जाता है। उनके एक हाथ में अमृत और दूसरे हाथ में आयुर्वेद लेकर वह प्रकट हुए थे।

आरोग्य प्राप्त करने का मंत्र :

* ॐ नमो भगवते महासुदर्शनाय वासुदेवाय धन्वन्तरये अमृतकलशहस्ताय सर्वभयविनाशाय सर्वरोगनिवारणाय त्रिलोकपथाय त्रिलोकनाथाय श्री महाविष्णुस्वरूपाय श्रीधन्वन्तरीस्वरूपाय श्रीश्रीश्री औषधचक्राय नारायणाय नमः॥
* ॐ नमो भगवते धन्वन्तरये अमृतकलशहस्ताय सर्व आमय विनाशनाय त्रिलोकनाथाय श्रीमहाविष्णुवे नम:|

इस मंत्र का अर्थ है, “भगवान, जिन्हें सुदर्शन वासुदेव धन्वंतरि कहते हैं, जो अमृत कलश लिए हैं, जो हर प्रकार के भय को दूर करने वाले हैं, जो सब रोगों का नाश करते हैं, जो तीनों लोकों के स्वामी हैं और उनका निर्वाह करने वाले हैं, उन विष्णु स्वरूप धन्वंतरि को नमन है।”

यह मंत्र धन, समृद्धि, मानसिक और शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य तीनों से जुड़ा है। इस मंत्र के नियमित जप से १०० प्रकार की मृत्यु (कालज और अकाल), जरा और रोगों पर विजय प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।
इसका कम से कम ग्यारह बार जाप करें। नियमित रूप से रुद्राक्ष की माला पर 108 बार जप करने से विशेष स्वास्थ्य लाभ होता है।

1. Areca palm (one of the best purifiers) - it absorbs harmful gases like Toluene, thus good for pregnant women and people with upper respiratory tract/ lung infections).
2. Corn plant - This is a good plant for smokers, nonsmokers, sick building syndrome, nasal congestion and sinusitis. Put 4 plants for 100- 200 sq. yard area.
3. Lady palm tree - This pest and insect resistant plant removes almost all harmful gaseous toxins like formaldehyde, ammonia and Toluene from air and is basically, an effectively against aerial cancerous chemicals.
4. Spider plant - This plant removes Carbon monoxide, formaldehyde and xylene from environment and is an excellent plant to be kept near kitchen, garage, sick people, Clinics and hospitals.
5. Dwarf date palm - This plant removes aerial chemicals including Formaldehyde very efficiently and adapts well in low light environment.
6. Boston fern - This plant removes air chemicals from wooden furniture, construction sites, paints, plastic, etc and is good for all those suffering from dryness of the skin, nose, eyes and throat.
